Any suggestions or pointers on how to word a FOIA request when requesting information on a cold case? I want to gain access to as much of the file as possible and have heard that sometimes info may be left off a request if it is not requested (worded) in the correct way. I'm requesting info on a cold case from Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Any guidance is much appreciated.
