As I view past posts, two cases that jump out at me (so far as I'm picking through) in terms of Heuermann are Christina Warner and Ivonne Rivera. And just noting here, there's no way I think all of LISK's victims were sex workers, he preyed wherever he found what he viewed as an opportunity, MOO.
Christina Warner was a sex worker who used Tina Clark as her working name. She was found mudered in December 1989, her nude body wrapped in plastic garbage bags. Her remains were frozen solid. She was found at the Meadow Brook Polo Club/Old Westbury. Meadow Brook Polo Club is a two-minute drive from where Rex Heuermann attended school at New York Institute of Technology. Exact dates of attendance are as of yet unknown, but he'd either be attending or would have already graduated at the time of Christina's murder. He's also associated with an (as of yet) unconfirmed address in Rhode Island, Christina Warner's originally from Cranston RI and had evidently left home 2 years prior to her death. Christina was a sex worker and petite at 5'4" 108 lbs, in line with a LISK victim. She was found nude wrapped in plastic, similar to some of the victims for which Heuermann's currently a suspect and/or charged. LE believed at the time that Christina was killed elsewhere and her remains deposited where she was found, in line with Gilgo victims and RH. She'd been strangled with trauma to her face/head, again in line with Gilgo victims and aligning with notes from Heuermann's "HK" computer file about striking victims. She was believed to be working in sex work in midtown NY at the time of her death, like some LISK victims. She was young, am seeing one source noting 19 yo, also in line with LISK victims. There was a ring still on her finger, consistent with other LISK victims where jewelry was left with remains. Also, noting this, which I just saw. This victim was found in green garbage bags, which may be of interest because of the Rubbermaid container in which they found Peaches, which was also green. I know it seems like a ridiculous detail to note, but this may have been intentional to have the remains/bags blending in with the greenery of a wooded environment.
Ivonne Rivera was a college student who was very close to achieving another degree. At the time of her murder, she'd already gotten her associate's from New York Technical College of the State University in Brooklyn and had moved on to Baruch College (Manhattan) for statistics. She was both striking and intelligent. She worked at a firm that appears to specialize in architectural lighting, which would have (I'd assume) worked closely with architects. The night she disappeared, she'd taken the Long Island Rail Road (which Heuermann used frequently) from Penn Station home to Babylon where she was picked up by her mother, and went out sometime after she received a phone call from an unknown person. She told her brother she was going "up to the village." She called a friend around 2am from a Babylon bar where she was spotted, but disappeared sometime after and was then found July 1992 murdered in a field used by train commuters. I'm seeing the cause of death in some sources as blunt force trauma but in other sources as "neck compression" (which I'm assuming would be strangulation) & blunt force trauma.
Rather oddly, the owner of the Oak Beach Inn (Oak Beach is where LISK-related Shannan Gilbert was found) offered a reward in Ivonne Rivera's case, saying he'd become aware of the case and was disturbed by it. Ivonne looks petite in the images I see of her. She was only 23 yo. Heuermann would have been around 28 at the time of her murder.
