Former WWE wrestler Marty Jannetty Admits To Murder

Anyone have any leads on a possible missing person? He would have been missing in 1973 from or close to Columbus, Georgia. I've checked Namus and haven't come up with any possibilities on who this man may have murdered. This should be interesting to watch unfold.

I had a little research into this last night.
Marty would have been 13 at around 1973-74.
The address I found for Victory Lanes Bowling was Victory Lanes Family Bowling Center 2311 Fort Benning Rd Columbus, GA.
If that address is correct, then this map shows that whilst the bowling center isnt backing onto the river, it is within driving distance, but who is driving at 13? خرائط ‪Google‬‏‏
So I'm wondering if the disappearance happened at a later time.
Some horrible language is used in this post, so I havent posted the image here. I will say that he mentions this is the "First time", so were there more?

With not much to go on I had a search using some of the sites for GA listed on here over the 70's (Remains and missing) and though I didnt find anything in the river specifically (which having looked at some videos, is very fast flowing, and google said it flows SW) I did find something else 2 bodies found in coal train carts.

10th June 1978 - One of these people had some interesting descriptors...long fingernails, curled eyelashes and bikini underwear.

@dreamnurse78 Unfortunately there have been a few posts in the past that seem also very strange. It is very worrying, he's obviously struggling with something, and has been for a while. Due to their treatment, heavy addiction is something that happens to a number of wrestlers, it's sad they spend their lives earning money for the people that run wrestling companies, but some of those owners 'look after the wrestlers physical or mental health wise.

Interesting he calls him an athlete.

I am confused if the dragging a body to the river, seeing the person on the news, is what happened, or if he is speaking hypothetically.

So sad that he had to go through that at any age, abuse is not ok.

Marty Jannetty is known to say a lot of crazy things so I would take this with a grain of salt.

I'm not sure about this last post, but the video that @dreamnurse78 shared above, sounds like he confirms posting the status on the phone call, but there again, can anyone be sure of anything in this case?

I'm just so interested in this story.
The police are already investigating, they will be interviewing people that worked there at the same time.
Was there ever a missing person?
Did the attacker survive and just didn't report because he was the criminal attacking a minor?
Who is Bob???

I need answers!

As things (currently) don't seem to match up, I'm wondering if this is a case of something he had wished he done to someone who took advantage of him at a young age.
Maybe he has been telling people for years he made this person disappear and can't back down now (from his point of view)

Here’s another mystery—I haven’t heard, seen or talked about Marty in years. At least 15 for sure. Then this last week and 1/2, 3 different times! My husband was watching wrestling and he was on. Hubs told me the FB hack story. Then a friend and I were talking about celebrities that lived in NJ and he came up. Toms River, NJ. And then this thread a few days later. So random and weird.

look up his shoot interviews on youtube and you will find he is normally intoxicated and telling some tall tale.. He also seems to be a pretty pervy guy in general

It could be. I don't keep up with it or anything.. I was born in 1978 so i grew up with these guys on tv and every once in awhile i will get bored and listen to interviews or podcasts but i'm not a real wrestling fan like a lot of people that can tell you good info.

Hah, i do listen to this podcast quite a bit when doing things around the house and i do see Cornette has spoken. Now fair warning, i have not heard this yet and Cornette known to be crass with adult language used frequently lol
