It took one day to find the mother, Mary, and three days to find the daughter, Madelyn. The police have a video of the boating accident. I didn't think I could watch the video at first, but then after finding that the fiancee/father was charged, I did watch the video. The quality of the video is very poor, but you can see the boat, you can see the unusual path the boat took towards the dam, and you can see the impact with the dam.
