I adore snakes, but honestly it doesn't matter if they are poisonous or not - if they step on your illusion that you are in control of them, it's a bit unnerving.

I am against any exotic animals being brought into this country. They aren't toys. We need to show respect to the rest of the inhabitants of this planet, animals or humans. That snake only saw itself surrounded by predators poking at it with a stick and attempted to escape.
