Her car was located a few days later on the St. Michel alleys in Toulouse. She has never been heard from again.
After several years passed, the investigation of Rejembeau's disappearance was reopened and focused on the sex trade in Barcelona. There were several unconfirmed sightings of her in the Barrio Chino, an area frequented by prostitutes. Rejembeau's whereabouts are still unknown and her case remains unsolved.
