'The father would drop him off in the ward from 7am to 8pm,' she said.

I'm sorry but what?? What father on earth thought it was a good idea to dump his 6 year old son at the hospital where his mother was a patient, thereby allowing this unattended child to run amuck each day for 12 hours?? I mean I get that people may have daycare issues if a SAHM is hospitalized but seriously? These parents thought this was acceptable?

I see a big lawsuit coming here. The hospital should have nixed this immediately and not allowed it to continue to the point a newborn is now dead. I would be livid if that baby were my family member.

The parents of the six year old are negligent. The hospital as well. Lawsuits all around MOO

He was fixated on the baby and thought she looked like a doll.
The boy is on the spectrum? My first thought.
Tragic, and completely avoidable!
An immense lawsuit coming that might bankrupt the hospital.

I don't support frivolous lawsuits, but this certainly is not one of them !
My god the poor parents of that baby.
Sickening of that hospital to just allow a child to run freely for that many days-- they have a responsibility to keep the patients safe.
The parents of that six year old are beyond negligent to think that the hospital should be a free daycare.
So much wrong with this story.
