The self-styled 'world's leading extra conjugal' dating website for married women, is facing a civil suit in France, where its legality is being challenged. The site, founded in 2009, claims it has millions of members in Europe but has horrified some sections of French society recently with a series of billboard ads on the metro.
The Association of Catholic Families (ACP) has been able to bring the lawsuit because the notion of fidelity in marriage is written into French civil code. Judges will now decide if a website encouraging marital affairs in France is actually illegal.
