Per a contemporary article, there was a sighting of her by several people getting into a McFrugal rental car with a man. I can't find any more detailed description of the car or the man.

I wish there was more information about Colette Williams, but there are no details... and the fact that there is only one photo of her makes it even sadder... there is no way to make any theory with so little information.. kidnapping, drug rape, serial killer... so many possible theories...

Details of Disappearance​

Williams left her residence in Macon, Georgia between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m. p.m. on December 17, 1993. She was not carrying her purse and did not have any identification with her at the time she was last seen. She may have been seen getting into a McFrugal rental car with a man, but this has not been confirmed. She never returned home and has not been heard from again. Few details are available in her case.

Just poking around in articles of the time, McFrugal allowed customers to pay cash for their car rentals (advertised at $8.84). In 1993 there were crimes reported in the papers in Georgia (including Macon area) including burglary, carjackings, and even a murder of a manager at McFrugal to steal a vehicle. They were also under scrutiny by the BBB and other state/federal agencies for false advertising practices and other offenses.
