GORDON, Georgia (41 NBC/ WMGT) – Gordon police intensified their search for a man who has been missing for more than 11 days.

In March of this year (2014) an update regarding Cornelius was published in the Wilkinson County Post printed newspaper titled "Search for Missing Man Takes to the Sky."
A photo of the first part that made the front page is viewable from this site but I'm unable to turn the pages to page 5 to read the last part. (without a subscription.)

An aerial search was done during the time the foliage was off the trees in hopes to find Cornelius but the search came up empty.
Cornelius is still missing, one year today.

Middle Georgia Cold Cases: Checked Out

It’s going three years since a 57-year-old man disappeared from a personal care home.

The city’s police chief says Cornelius Hall checked out from the home in August 2013 and never came back. Investigators spent days searching for the man, who’s a diabetic, and needed his medicine to survive.

“We have not had the first tip, the first lead, on him since he’s been missing,” Chief Hall said.

He said he wants to get it solved as soon as possible.

They need to step out and say ‘I do know this person, I have seen this person, I know where he’s staying at.’ It’s real important that he’s found safe and returned back to his family,” Chief Hall said.
