Quevius Thornton, 29, faces five counts of statutory rape, four counts of aggravated child molestation and one count of simple battery after investigators said he had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.
He also faces a marijuana possession charge and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Investigators believe the relationship started in October 2010, and lasted through Dec. 30, 2010. He also is charged with slapping the girl.
