Gainesville father, son charged in molestation of child victim

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said in a release Wednesday that Raymundo Castillo, 60, was taken into custody Monday on one felony count of child molestation. Meanwhile Edgar Jovanny Razo, 30, was arrested Tuesday on two counts of child molestation and three counts of sexual battery on a child under the age of 16. All of Razo’s charges are felony crimes.

According to the investigation to date, the sexual abuse occurred over a period of several years, starting in 2014. The sheriff’s office says there is no evidence at this time the two suspects committed the crimes together.

If it started 11 years ago, I can only imagine how young she must have been. This poor girl is going to need a lot of unconditional love and care.
