Fort Oglethorpe police searching for missing 59-year-old man

FORT OGLETHORPE, Ga. — Fort Oglethorpe police are searching for 59-year-old George Gregory Hayes, who family members have not been able to contact since May 27th.

Police say Hayes is 6' 2" tall, weighs 170 pounds with balding grey hair and blue eyes.

Family members say they were last in contact with him on May 27th, and he has not reported for work at Home Depot.


Police seeking missing Fort Oglethorpe man

Police are seeking a missing Fort Oglethorpe man who hasn't been seen for more than a week.

Police say the family of 59-year-old George Gregory Hayes has not heard from him since May 27.

Greg Hayes is believed to be driving a 1997 gold, single cab Ford Ranger pickup truck with a Georgia U.S. Army Veterans license plate bearing the number ETP992.
