Atlanta Man Fatally Shot, Robbed by Group Who Then Stole Dog in ‘Targeted Attack’

Samuel “JR” Harris, 44, was killed during a robbery by a group who Atlanta police say are still at large.

Samuel “JR” Harris, 44, was walking with his dog Tequilla when he was fatally shot by a group around 8 p.m. Monday, according to a press release shared by the Atlanta Police Department. Police said the suspects then allegedly stole his dog.

did he try to stop them from hurting/stealing his dog? is that why they killed him? that makes him a hero IMO
poor doggo - I hope s/he is found safely - I'm curious as to the breed - some of them are targeted more than others

a third suspect had his charges dropped and released from custody in June
