Police don't know what killed two people found in rural Gwinnett

7-1-2011 Officers responding to a caller who suspected someone might be dumping garbage illegally on a dead-end road found an adult male inside a pick-up truck and an adult woman just outside the vehicle. The cause of death was not immediately apparent & autopsies will be performed by the Gwinnett Medical Examiner’s office.

Detectives are treating the case as a homicide. There were no visible signs of violence, illicit drug use or anything else that could explain the deaths of the man and woman who appeared to be in their 30s and 40s.

The man who owns the property says he put a gate across this road because he had trouble with illegal dumping. It looks like trash in the back of the pickup. The back tire looks low, maybe they got stuck in there.
