DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A DeKalb County man has been missing for months and now the DeKalb County Police Department have issued a Mattie's Call regarding his disappearance.

Police said that 64-year-old Howard Neal, who has dementia, was last seen on April 21 at a home on Wesley Chapel Road in Decatur around 4:15 p.m.

Neal is 6-foot-2 and weighs 134 pounds. He has brown eyes and is bald. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pajama pants and was walking with a cane.

In the Mattie's Call report, police said that Neal has early stages of dementia, walks with a limp and struggles with his eyesight.

Dementia is so sad. It's been a while now so while I'd like to say I hope he hasn't wandered too far and is found safe soon, do we think the police are considering other avenues?
