The second suspect in custody for an Aug. 30 kidnapping and double homicide has waived extradition and should be returned to Atlanta later today, Atlanta police confirmed...

Gay was paroled in January after spending 22 years in prison for murdering a woman and a baby. Gay was 15 in November 1990 when he shot through the door of an apartment in the McDaniel-Glenn housing project in southwest Atlanta, killing 39-year-old Cathy Dozier and 18-month-old Michael Broughton.

And Wilson was indicted earlier this year on charges he murdered Fikree Muhsin Jordan on Jan. 9. The 37-year-old Jordan was found shot to death in the middle of Farrington Place in southeast Atlanta.

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said on Friday that Brianna Brooks and Jeronta Brown were just two of Andre Gay and Richard "Fathead" Wilson's victims. Howard says both men are responsible for at least seven deaths since 1990, one of which was unsolved. Both had been on parole several times before, despite the violent nature of their crimes.

Investigators say for three hours after the abduction the suspects called family members asking for a ransom. They were handcuffed and brutally executed when those ransom demands were not met.

So I'm wondering, did one of the families have a lot of money? Or maybe they were just perceived as having money.

One of the articles stated that Brown's stepfather had recently come into some money from a lawsuit from disability. It seems as though there's no stated connection between the victims (and their families) and the perps.. I imagine there is a connection, maybe it hasn't been made public yet.. Imo. And we're they able to connect the two similar kidnappings in that area?

ATLANTA (AP) — Two Georgia men have been sentenced to consecutive life terms in prison for kidnapping and killing a pregnant woman and her fiance.

News outlets report 44-year-old Andre Cleveland Gay and 46-year-old Richard “Fathead” Wilson pleaded guilty Monday to kidnapping and killing 21-year-old Briana Brooks and 23-year-old Jeronta Brown.
