I was just watching a movie on the Hallmark Movie channel listing Nancy Grace as one of the writers. The title is "Hailey Dean Mystery: Murder With Love" starring Kellie Martin, it's from 2016. Nancy Grace is also listed in the cast but I haven't gotten far enough to see what role she plays. After reading your link it peaked my interest so I googled and found the Find A Grave page for her former fiancé, William Keith Griffin.
I also read on Wikipedia that her fiancés murderer, Tommy McCoy was released on parole in 2006.
