The Murray County Sheriff's Department is searching for a missing woman. Twenty-seven-year-old Kelly Pankey's mother says she last heard from her on March 15th.


Dawn Pankey says she and her daughter Kelly never go more than two weeks without speaking. But now it's been four months since their last texts, and Pankey has no idea where her daughter is. ...

...Kelly was going through a rough patch and could be hard to reach. But after weeks of no contact, Pankey finally filed a police report with the Murray County Sheriff’s Department. They confirmed to Channel 3 that the investigation is still active. ...

Kelly Pankey is 27-years-old, 5’ 10”, and about 135 pounds. Her mom says her hair was blonde the last time she saw her, but it could be dyed brown.

Thank you for making thread for her. I am not sure where Murray County is but online statement by her mum saying Kelly is missing from Georgia?

There’s no official Find or Missing page for Kelly. Her Moms FB page is getting attention & suggestions. Kelly has 2 very young children and it’s mentioned that they are good. That is a relief. I did not dig to find out if the Dad and fiancé are the same person. It seems odd that this isn’t getting much media attention.

She was booked into jail last october for theft.

I typed in her name in google and that was the first or second thing that came up.

I think she is from Georgia

Kelly's mother posted 25 minutes ago per her facebook page that she has been found safe!

Yeah, I wasn't sure which state to put it under. I think TN has the missing case, but she lives in Georgia. Must be right on the border that she would go back and forth from??

UPDATE: Missing Murray County woman located

UPDATE: Dawn Pankey says her daughter Kelly is no longer missing.

She tells Channel 3 she finally heard from Kelly last night.

She still doesn’t know where she is, but she has been told she’s safe.
