Circumstances of Disappearance Mr. Flowers wife called to report that she has not seen her husband and that she last heard from him via text on 4/29/2012. He left his driver's license, birth certificate and social security card behind. He left on foot, leaving his vehicle behind at their residence.

Skeletal remains were found this morning in Garden City near Alfred St. and Highway 80. Wonder if this could be related to Mr. Flowers who went missing in 2012.

Cold case mystery: Cherokee County's need to identify 2013 skeletal remains

Authorities are renewing efforts to identify skeletal remains of a Black male found in Cherokee County in 2013, estimated to be between 40 and 60 years old.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released a forensic facial reconstruction, stemming from a July 2013 case.

A man's skeletal remains were found in a wooded area off South Cherokee Lane in Woodstock and authorities said he likely died between February and July of 2013.




Investigators said the man may have been homeless and was described as a black male between the ages of 40 to 60-years-old.
