Ok, so can the grandmother be charged with anything?

Why couldn't she be charged with witness tampering? If she passed the messages along to her daughters (who then told the victims!) then she was threatening witnesses as well.

I think the grandmother and the mother should be charged.

High fives for this judge.

Everyone covered everything except the sentencing part which impressed me simply because the judge seems determined that he never get out. :)

I'm willing to bet from his comments to his wife that he thought without the child's testimony that he wouldn't go to jail at all. Now he's doing life plus 20!

Unfortunately, some of the things he said are easy targets for an appeal. A good attorney can get him a new trial with a new judge. :-(
