Identified! GA - Milledgeville, Male skeletal remains, Mar'15 - Drew Henzie

Authorities are working to identify human remains that were found in a wooded area in middle Georgia...

County Coroner John Gonzales told local media that investigators believe the remains may be those of a man who was reported missing in Milledgeville in 2007.

Neither of them seems to be missing from Milledgeville, however. I suspect it's someone not in the public databases.

This article says the remains were found behind the IHOP on N. Columbia Street in Milledgeville http://www.wgxa.tv/news/local/Bones-of-Man-Found-in-Baldwin-County--295427221.html

Mr. Henzies went missing from the Walmart in Milledgeville, which is also on N. Columbia Street. On the map it looks like less than half a mile. Can't get the link to post from my phone...

The skeleton remains of a man found in a wooded area of Baldwin County 13 months ago have been positively identified as those of a missing man last seen alive nine years ago, local authorities say.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Detective Capt. Brad King said Monday that the remains were those of 46-year-old Drew Henzie. The victim had been living in a personal care home for several years in Milledgeville and was last seen leaving Wal-Mart, just a short distance away from a wooded area where a hunter found a skull and other human bones last March.
