Woman reported missing week after boyfriend found shot to death
Martin Hvizda was shot to death Sept. 16 in an apparent carjacking.
His girlfriend was distraught over his death.
She was reported missing by her brother.
The girlfriend of a Marietta man found shot to death recently was reported missing Monday, police said.
Nnenna Iheke of Atlanta was reported missing by her brother, Iheke Iheke-Agu, who told police she was having a mental health crisis after the death of her boyfriend, Martin Hvizda, according to a police report.
Hvizda was found dead Sept. 16 in the 500 block of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.
Iheke-Agu told police his sister was upset when they were together at her apartment Sunday. She had been talking about meeting her deceased boyfriend at the waterfall, Iheke-Agu told police.
Despite several calls to Iheke and other family members, no one had been able to contact her so police made a wellness check Monday. No one answered her door and her cellphone went immediately to voicemail, the report states.
Anyone with information is asked to call Atlanta police.
