CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County police are looking for a missing teenager diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

*******
He was previously missing from Loganville, May 31, 2023, at age 13 and was found 4 days later in Lawrenceville.

Noel Tapia, a 14-year-old Hispanic male, walked away from his home and is currently missing. Such stories highlight the critical importance of medication and support in managing bipolar disorder.

Cute 14 y/o. Having both BPD and schizophrenia is a tough combination. There are meds that help these disorders. He obviously needs to be found or to return home on his own -- his family is probably frantic.
I had a good friend in collage, and he had BPD. His mom was schizophrenic. He was a brilliant physics and math student, and he was witty and sweet-natured. As long as he took his meds, did not drink alcohol, and ate and slept as he should, he was fine. He would fall off the wagon every now & then, but as he got older, he got better.
Hoping this young man will be okay and come back home very soon.
Re Stockbridge -- It's about miles to Lawrenceville, GA. It's about 22 miles to Atlanta, GA.
