COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teen.

14-year-old Nyla Muhammad was last seen March 3, near 2000 block of 6th Avenue in Columbus.

Muhammad is 5′2 and approximately 125 pounds.

Any information concerning Muhammad, contact 911 or the Columbus Police Department Youth and Adult Services Unit at 706-653-3449.

Missing for almost 3 weeks already, I hope that Nyla is safe.

Another beautiful young teen. She has a certain exotic look, even at her young age. SMH. A run-away, perhaps. Not going to school, I assume. Family close by? She can't be licensed to drive a vehicle.
Did she meet someone online? Please, not that.
Where do these girls go? I have scary thoughts every time I open up one of these threads. As do we all, I'm sure.
The 6th Ave houses are well-kept "older" homes -- colorful with big porches and multi-floors like many houses that some of our Southern grandparents inhabited. Very "Southern."
Hoping Nyla is safe & with good people. She is just 14 and that is a worry. Gone for 2 weeks -- that is a worry. Hoping for the best for her and for those who know & love her. SMH.
