On October 14, 2019 Scarlet Lira, a 2 year-old Hispanic female and Kael Lira, a 2 year-old Hispanic male were abducted by Jose Patillo, a 22 year-old Hispanic male. The subjects were last seen in Powder Springs, Georgia and are possibly headed to California. The children are believed to be in extreme danger.

POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. (CBS46) – A mother and her two children were abducted at knife point early Monday morning and are believed to be in extreme danger, according to police.

Police say the children's father, Armando (Jouse) Portilla, 22, took Yajaria Lira Ramirez, 23, Scarlet Lira, age 1, and Kael Lira, age 2, by force around 2 a.m. from 3793 Forest Hill Road in Powder Springs.

Later report states: Yajaria Ramirez, the children's mother, is believed to be traveling with them but it has been reported the children are in extreme danger. Idk what the situation is.
The Levis Call was my first alert by phone.
Here is snuppet from the 1st news report I read.

"POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. — A Levi's Call - Georgia's Amber Alert - has been issued for a set of 2-year-old twins that are believed to be in extreme danger.

Police in Powder Springs said that Scarlet Lira and Kael Lira were abducted on Monday, October 14 at about 1:05 a.m., by a 22-year-old man, who they said is possibly headed to California."

The first article say's they are twins but the above quoted, BBM article says the children are a 1 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. IMO they need to clear this up as it will make a huge difference in someone being able to recognizing them.

The children's mother, 23-year-old Yajaira Lira Ramirez, was also kidnapped at the time.

Portillo is believed to be driving a white 2016 Kia Sorrento with Georgia license tag number CAP7259. He is driving in an unknown direction, but may be traveling to California, investigators said.

Police said Portillo to be considered armed and dangerous. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the FBI have been notified of the incident.

Oh yay!!! Just saw they were found safe!

Holy Smokes. They must be terrified. I hope Mom can keep cool and talk him out of this, release them at a fire station, grocery store, or something. It was 2:00 am so I wonder if any cameras would have been able record in the dark. Traffic cameras could point them in the right direction. What’s in CA that they would go there? Family? Friends? The border?
