UPDATE: MPD seeks missing woman

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a missing woman.

Tracie Gleason, 53, was last seen Nov. 30 at Somesh Package Store, according to a post on the City of Moultrie’s Facebook page.

Gleason was accompanied by an older man in an image from the package store’s surveillance camera.

Gleason’s boyfriend, Frank Perkins, told The Observer that Gleason is mentally ill. He said she was recently released from the hospital, so he’s very concerned about her well-being.

“All her mental health medications are with me,” Perkins said.

Today, Thomas County authorities say a GBI investigation has determined the remains are Gleason’s, but a cause of death has yet to be determined.
