Curious if anyone can find any additional information or updates on this case that’s geographically close to home. Security hold can only last so long right?
From LA coroner website:
KFI news article 3/17/22:
LONG BEACH (CNS) - A woman who was found dead in Long Beach over the weekend was identified today, and the investigation was continuing into her death.
Genesis Rivera, 28, was found dead shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday next to a building in a sandy area north of a bike path near the 1900 block of East Ocean Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office and the Long Beach Police Department. Her city of residence was not known.

``Homicide detectives were called to the scene due to the suspicious location of the body and lack of explanation for her death,'' police said in a statement.
Information has not been released regarding Rivera's cause of death.
The case has been placed on a security hold, according to the coroner's office.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call Long Beach police homicide detectives at 562-570-7244. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
