GEORGE Michael yesterday admitted being caught with cannabis - and called his arrest "my own stupid fault, as usual".

The 42-year-old former Wham! star said: "I was in possession of class C drugs, which is an offence. I have no complaints about the police."

But the known cannabis user, found slumped behind the wheel of his car in the early hours on Sunday, insisted he was not under the influence of the drug while driving. "The doctor said I was not impaired in any way."
