If I remember correctly the heart shaped sticker glue was evident before the lab testing. What methods of testing were used on the tape? If the super glue method of testing for fingerprints was used on the duct tape, it may explain why the heart shape was present before, but not after.

There was a post on the sticker thread that enhanced the contrast of the image of the tape resulting in a visible heart shape, corresponding to the sticker that was found at the site.

JB's comments may have been premature.

My mistake, the image corresponded to the empty sticker backing found at the house, not the puffy sticker at the site. Sorry, couldn't find the edit button. :waitasec:
