On the same day as a 91-year-old, Oskar Groening, was sentenced for his role in 300,000 murders at Auschwitz concentration camp in what was speculated to be 'the last' prosecution of its kind, another German man has been charged.

The 92-year-old from Hanau, near Franfurt, who has not been named, was charged with murder Wednesday. Despite his age, he's been charged as a juvenile because he was only 19 or 20 at the time of the killings during WW2. He was an SS guard who watched over arrivals from Berlin and camps in Drancy in France and Westerbork in the Netherlands, prosecutors allege. Over 1,000 of these victims were sent straight to the gas chambers upon arrival.

Pleas aren't entered in advance of a trial in Germany so I don't know if the suspect admits his role or not.

It is worth mentioning that Anne Frank and her family were deported from Westerbork. There's a possibility this suspect supervised their arrival if the timing is right.
