''Investigators say that the suspect is believed to have rang the door of Cameron’s house and attacked him when he answered the door, Daily Mail reported. At the time of the incident, Cameron’s wife Verena Kloos was in the house and escaped the attack by scaling a wall. She reached her neighbours to inform the police.''

'The suspect, a tall Caucasian man whose identity is currently unknown, was seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and light-coloured trousers in the CCTV footage taken near the crime scene. He had gloves on him and was carrying a dark red backpack.'
The suspect was seen on CCTV a few hours before the killing.4

Witnesses supposedly saw an unknown male fleeing the couple’s property on foot.
After scouring the area by foot and via helicopter over the weekend, the police released CCTV images of the suspect at the scene of the crime and shopping at a nearby grocery store just a few hours before the killing.
The unidentified man was seen sporting a thin beard and a buzzed haircut''.

Updated: the suspect was apprehended in France. CCTV cables outside the house had been cut.

Was Ian the intended victim? Because how did the suspect know that Ian would answer the door? Was the suspect prepared to kill anyone who answered the door?

''Bavarian police said that after a public manhunt the suspect had been located in a flat to the north-east of Paris and arrested by French special forces on Thursday.''
'He is due to appear before an investigating magistrate in France on Friday.'

DOTR, Thank you for the fabulous news!! Never thought this was a professional hit. Shopping in stores CCTV in a small town, with all those identifialble tats, not even wearing a baseball cap to obscure facial recognition...people will notice him. What is strange, the changing of clothes and putting on a hoodie at time of attack. I'm thinking he was known to victim/spouse from a previous encounter. Why else suddenly decide to disguise oneself now? I think he was after one of the vehicles. Will be interesting to see how this unfolds. Just another senseless act of violence...and the coward ran on foot. There is much more to this "criminal's history."

Now the 22 year old murderer (I am not jumping to conclusions as he has already admitted he killed Ian) but is claiming he was a hired hitman. Oh brother! I guess he wants to sound like a tough guy before being sent to prison?
"As previously reported by Kurir, neighbors of the arrested young man described him as problematic in his hometown. Neighbors revealed that they were aware of him breaking into houses and stealing."
Such a senseless crime wrought upon a couple who just wanted to spend their retirement together in one of the most lovely places on earth.
