According to Josh Zeman from The Killing Season, it sounds like Peaches and her baby may be identified! More info may be released in two weeks

Skip to the 3 minute mark

how can they suddenly be identifying all the victims? omigod this is so weird..what if it's from evidence found in the house or something?

“Did all the serial killers get together and say, ‘hey, we’re gonna dump remains on Gilgo Beach.’ How many serial killers can there be on one small stretch of beach?”

Grace pointed out that the area is “a natural place to go, if you know the New York area, to get rid of a body.”

“But it has to be a local to know that particular stretch,” she said.

“It’s not over yet,” she said. “Whether they are ever found or not found, there are other bodies in other locations — such as South Carolina and Vegas — where he frequents.”

Heuermann owns a timeshare in Las Vegas and has property in South Carolina, where he said he intended to retire.

Grace also discussed the prosecution’s request for a DNA sample from Heuermann, one they’d like to take on video and with witnesses. That’s perfectly normal, said Grace, a former prosecutor, noting that the process would prove the DNA was Heuermann’s, “not his purported DNA off a pizza crust,” which is how investigators narrowed their suspect list to him.

“There’s no better way than to do it that way,” she said.

They've been working peaches case since at least October, possibly longer. Karen was also identified for quite a while before it was announced publicly.

New DA. New commissioner. Feds allowed in (finally). No one covering their behind to protect themselves. Nothing weird. Just what should have been done years ago.

It's just me, coming to you with some more boots-on-the-ground reporting...

I've been out on LI helping my elderly parents out with some stuff and took a little break to do some geocaching in Massapequa Park today. I haven't gone over there in a few years and it's far more overgrown than my brain remembered. I checked out Brady Park (where the woman who claims she was accosted on July 3rd by RH started her bike ride) and found an area that fits the “He had very dirty clothes on. He popped right out of the woods. Everywhere I went in the woods he would pop out somewhere,” description. It's where a few paved paths and dirt trails converge and a person could easily go unseen just feet away from the paths and "pop out" at you easily from multiple points and directions.

If the woman is correct, and the dirt smudged person who accosted her was Heuermann, my theory is that he was in these woods either scoping out a location for future "endeavors" or he was visiting something from his collection. There is an entrance to the park just down the street from his front door.

I would be shocked if Nassau/Suffolk/State PD would spend the money to have any cadaver dogs canvass this area. I'm taking a guess and going to say it's just not happening. Luckily (sarcasm), I already have chronic Lyme's Disease so I'm not afraid of ticks. I will bushwack and explore the area more in the near future once the dog days of summer pass.

Just want to add: I did not drive by the house out of respect for those still living there.

Wow. Thanks for the report and photos. That is much more overgrown and wooded than I expected.

They don't r

I find Pak and Brewer to be inconsistent with themselves and each other. Pretty astonishing being that it was a night that they lived, and had to replay again and again in their minds considering that a woman was last seen alive then.

The stories about the blood-curdling scream are not consistent with each other. And their behavior- silence- is ridiculous if they're motives were innocent. Ordinary people would spring into action and possibly restrain her then, not to hurt her but to help her if she were really screaming at nothing.

MOO

Great work and thank you for doing it.
Makes a massive difference to be able to actually see it all.

A 49-year-old former tenant of Brewer self-published a book titled Confessions of the Oak Beach Drifter in October under the pen name “W.” But not until the end of the nearly 300-page memoir—the author claims it’s partly fictionalized—does he mention living there, and casts suspicion on his landlord, “Damon Brooks.”

“There would be some times I would hear some ‘rough play’ with Damon and his ‘guests,’” he writes, referring to strippers and prostitutes frequently called to the house. “There was one particular night I was awakened by a woman screaming, ‘No! Please stop! Please, don’t do that!’ and that was followed by a loud thud. And then there was silence.”

This is what I'm talking about. I'm 1/2 way through Brewer's deposition, but I'm going to start over and keep track of the inconsistencies.

Skip to the 3 minute mark

WOW! Josh Zeman says at round the 18:50 mark that Dave Schaller DID tell them on the documentary about the Chevy Avalanche.

The following is told by Zeman based on his review of documentary footage that didn't air:

Schaller said that he didn't see what happened on the night Amber Costello disappeared. However, according to Zeman, later in the interview footage, Schaller mentioned that Amber was being "stalked" by a huge man.

Starting at 19:18 mark, description given by Schaller of this huge man: "6'9", 300lbs, he's a monster, and he drove a green Avalanche"

Zeman said that he & Killing Season team missed this info. They missed it b/c they didn't think the stalker was related to the guy who actually ended up taking Amber Costello.

Edit: meant to add, Zeman basically says that they thought the guy who took AC would have been more careful

Just wanted to clarify that I'm not citing financial abuse as the reason AE is now continuing to live in the house, but rather a possible explanation why she and the kids had to sleep in a vehicle rather than a motel during the investigation of the house.

Your possible reasons why they are remaining in the house now that they are allowed back in all seem extremely plausible.

where is the info about her and the kids sleeping in a vehicle?

I googled and have read 4 different articles none of which mention it
