There is an outside entrance to the basement. I recall seeing a cellar door in the exterior photos from the police search.

Can you imagine getting a call to go to a stranger's house he leads you to a dark backyard and opens up a cellar door like that?! Yikes! No thanks. Pretty damn creepy.

There was a google search made looking for TS escorts. My understanding is TS means Transsexual.

Take that for what you will
I immediately thought of John Doe #8 AKA the Asian Male. He was found wearing women's clothing. I think Rex killed him too

If anybody is capable of accessing many different homes while escorted it would either be a real estate agent or perhaps an architect.

He doesnt need his home in order to torture people.

And the there are hotels.
As an architect, he'd also have access to lofts, warehouses, commercial buildings, etc.

autopsy photos of female
This one stood out to me, was he looking for pictures of women in the mourge, or was he wanting pictures taken of someone being autopsied?

I hope LE went over every square inch of that home. In search of a sub sub basement.

If the neighbors don't have stories then their security systems surely do. We are talking a high class family with high accessibility to education, healthcare, and clearly income. Paying to keep quiet with your family would be the last option IMO esp considering the children. I mean that would be QUITE the family secret to be hushed by monetary funds but I have been wrong before...

But I agree with you, even the largest basement with the best soundproof quality would still raise concerns with neighbors/family members with coming and going. I mean I know a basement isn't always the hangout destination but to have at least four identified victims without a peep to family living IN THE SAME HOME makes my mind wander. Did they ever mention HM's pets if they had any? Hard to see a dog or puppy not barking upon entrance into the home with new visitors.
Dahmer lived in an apartment … not many concerns raised there

Rex Heuermann Bail Application

GilgoTaskForce found credit card records in #RexHeuermann storage unit indicating Atlantic City hotel charge, 3 days before #MaureenBrainardBarnes disappeared in 2007. DA Tierney: suspect’s wife says she and 2 children were in AC at time victim vanished.

Major news about #AmberCostello #LISK murders in latest DA Tierney court documents. #Laptop recovered from #RexHeuermann home allegedly accessed Costello’s Backpage ad day before she disappeared. DA says suspect tried to erase info, unsuccessfully.

Undercover cop followed #RexHeuermann DAUGHTER on LIRR train to Massapequa Park in May 2023, after her dad was ID’d as the prime #LISK suspect. He noticed she was drinking a gold can of #MonsterJava. He followed her off train, because he wanted the can.

So the searches of the home and storage units have given them what they needed to charge him with killing Maureen, and more evidence linking him to Amber. Excellent.

Asian Doe was certainly found closest to the other GB4, and wasn't dismembered like the earlier victims that RH hasn't been charged with killing. (Yet.)

Did he search for his own victims perhaps??

what about her murder arrives to 2nd degree murder..? he was on the phone with her the day before she went missing. she was murdered just like the others, she was dead in the same spot off the road as all the others..give me a break!
I want more investigation of Ellerup. I don't like that her hair is involved in the disposal materials on these bodies. That it is on the tape is very suspect to me.

Dahmer lived in an apartment … not many concerns raised there

A few neighbors reported bad smells, and noise, so yes people did complain to the landlord and the police didn't investigate. But you're right VERY BOLD of Dauhmer to commit murder in a small apartment and cook, and store human remains. Why did it take so long to get caught!!! If you SMELL something please say SOMETHING!
seriously. such horrific situation.

I would bet the FBI is investigating.

yes , why is it 2nd degree? could they not ascertain actual cod? weird..mOO

Tierney addresses this around 4:20 in video.

Sadly.

Murder creates a trail of injustices. Lasting nightmare for everyone touched by it. No justice.

The most we can hope for is THAT HE gets HIS justice. LWOP.

JMO
That's the most we can hope for? Why?

I want to raise the bar a bit. I am not planning to get comfortable with sad things that could be changed.

I have not seen this posted yet - apologies if its a duplicate - good news that Gloria is involved for the victims IMO

Gloria Aldred was there and gave a press conference right after Tierney with some of the victims relatives :

It still doesn’t make sense to me that in order for it to be 1st degree, it has to be within a certain time frame as the others? Obviously IANAL, but I thought the difference between 1st degree and 2nd degree was whether or not it was premeditated? Someone explain please.

I am sure the FBI is doing their due diligence on AE, but I’m not surprised about her and the daughter’s hair(s) being on the items. That house was not the tidiest, and seemed a borderline hoarding situation IMO. even in the cleanest of homes, family members hairs can shed and get stuck to items. Especially adhesive ones.

One thing has been cleared up. In spite of the lying words of her unethical and, IMO, unhelpful lawyer, Asa Ellerup was interviewed by the police and did give useful information: she was in Atlantic City when Maureen disapeared.

Also, in contrast to Macedonia's words, she was directly identified in the indictment documents as a witness.

Just an FYI with a MOO attached --

Now that he's been charged, the investigation isn't done. In fact, a new phase has just begun. A new round of people might come forward, a new round of tips may be called in, resulting ultimately in new, heavier charges.

This opens a gateway for that.

Have you considered how much Rex Heuermann has assisted the prosecution against himself? A man considered "smart" because he used a different burner phone for each victim, did not "burn" or destroy the devices, but instead kept them at home and in his office.

The bail application said there were hundreds of electronic devices in home and office that the task force is still going through.

The purpose of a "burner" phone is that it's used then destroyed when another "burner" is purchased. Over the long years how simple it would have been for RH to drop a phone off a curb, step a heavy heel into it, then leave the pieces to be washed away in the drains of the city.

I am personally going to guess other victims will be discovered from the study of these devices. Perhaps already have been.

This man searched how phone records were being used in solving crimes, then kept his old phones and probably the paperwork that went with them!

Then, there are the thousands upon thousands of dollars RH spent on storage units to maintain mounds of records of credit cards, expenditures, family life. None of this information would still be available from the companies. He's certainly not required by law to keep records from 2007. A reasonable person would have burned and shredded or never kept in the first place any of the paperwork LE needs to prove their case. Not only has RH kept them, he's paid good money to keep them safe.

Why? He knew better.
