Gilgo Beach LISK Serial Killer, Rex Heuermann, charged with 7 murders, July 2023 #16

  • #1,021

Woman says she went on two dates with Rex.
She does seem authentic and genuine. For reference, I was sexually manhandled at a Walmart in 1985. It was beyond bizarre. When store security was completely incompetent, i drove myself to the police station. When they considered this a run of the mill perv, I insisted and insisted there were bodies somewhere and that there would be more. They either took me seriously or placated me by calling in a sketch artist who drew the face of a man who years later turned out to be Dennis Rader, commonly known as BTK the serial killer. Yes, there had already been multiple bodies before. And the woman he killed after me looked nearly identical to me at that time.

Gut instincts are actually a complex highly refined conglomeration of assessing many many cues at lightning speed. Always trust your gut instincts and take no chances.

exactly. Murder is most likely a solitary "sport" but was it always? Did occasionally some of them work together? Do you wonder how many of the non-killers thought of certain people in the group when body parts were discovered? Did certain snipets of conversation come to mind?

In the book "Bloodstains" published by H.H. Holmes' great-great-grandson, I seem to recall Holmes writing in his diary something to the effect: "There is another one of us here" supposedly in London during the time of Jack the Ripper, even though the g-g-grandson tried to paint Holmes as the Ripper.

So, since multiple SKs were working at the same time, do you think they recognized there were others like them? Did they know who was doing what?

We have speculated about Bittrolff and RH knowing each other, perhaps working together, perhaps RH following and copying JB . . . . wonder if we'll ever know?

Because of my own recollections when something jogs my memory, I feel certain members of that group do recall conversations, incidents that made them wonder at the time. People who moved in that group surely have very unsettling memories, wouldn't you think? Wonder if any will ever be willing to talk "on the record"?
I can't stop thinking about a connection between RH and the ex-cop JB...
I think it would answer a lot...
I'm hoping for a real move that will trigger a domino effect, be it someone's confession...

it seems the criminal elements at Times Square may have possibly been reallocated to places like long island in the 90s or so.

This is my personal opinion obviously. And I’ve never set foot in NY and my assessment is based on the consumption of a lot of low quality True Crime smut. So take that tentative thought with a truckload of salt.

I will be shocked if he pleads guilty. it won't keep him from prosecution in other states...and they are going to run him through Codis, once he is prosecuted. He may believe his other victims have not been found or maybe he's just praying his DNA isn't found again. it won't keep them from further prosecuting him in ongoing cases...unless he's going to spill the beans...and I doubt it.I don't like this guilty pleading...he gets to go hide. I don't like it one bit. mOO

This is what I'm most looking forward to - I dont want to say a 'positive outcome', but running his DNA through CODIS could potentially give so many families and friends closure / justice.
