Gilgo Beach LISK Serial Killer, Rex Heuermann, charged with 7 murders, July 2023 #16

  • #1,081
"There are ABSOLUTE reasons why we chose those nine," DA Tierney told me at a press briefing September 23rd in Riverhead, shortly after winning another court challenge in the Gilgo Beach case.

Tierney then added, "You're going to have to trust me as to what those reasons are."

When I asked the District Attorney if there was a connection to Rex Heuermann, the D.A. replied, "I would submit that there are really good reasons why we do that. And whether there's a connection or not does not matter until if and when we're able to charge. So, I'm not going to talk about cases until I'm able to charge. That would be unethical."

Brentwood doe is interesting tho

On 5/20/1998, skeletal remains were located in an overgrown sump area adjacent to the Freshman Center Elementary School in Brentwood, New York. Anthropological assessments suggest the decedent was a white and/or Hispanic male between 15 and 17 years of age, who may have stood between 5’3 and 5’9 tall. The male may have been deceased 6 months prior to discovery. He was recovered wearing a green and black jacket (size XL) labeled “Alliance Down,” a Starter brand shirt with “Chicago,” white boxers with blue vertical stripes, white socks, “Buffalo” brand hiking boots (size 8.5), an iridescent green plastic key ring inscribed "Hands of Gold Jewelry" Copiague, NY, white plastic rosary beads, and yellow stud/post earring with green stone. Displayed is a facial reconstruction created by a NCMEC Forensic Artist which depicts what the male may have looked like in life.

This is such a bold project. I hope we get to know what it’s core is. But these people and their loved ones should receive recognition and justice.

If Tierney is saying there are ABSOLUTE reasons why they chose these victims, it means something. He's going out on a limb, so to speak.

Yes but this is a mystery - such diverse cases and they all look *very* hard to solve.

they are diverse, but so is Rex. remember his searches...would it surprise you that he hates women? that he has homosexual leanings? no, it's really not surprising because we already know this based on his internet searches alone...he has a wide range of interests...including guns. so why wouldn't he practice shooting people? remember the taxi driver who said Rex took out a gun in her cab in a wooded area and got out and shot the gun into the air etc....?

literally nothing would surprise me ...he has had years upon years to practice his sadism. mOO

MOO: Remember the HK document from one of the affidavits - thought to represent Hunt Kill. These make me wonder again if there may have been some sport in hunting people, whether just RH, or some hunting club.

Yes, I agree on all of this. He was involved with "swingers" for years which usually means he was having sex with people of both genders and all sizes, genders and nationalities. It's not to say these were people he met while swinging, but it means his sexual preferences were probably "eclectic". I also agree some of these may have resulted from his wish to "hunt" someone.

Agreed. The only thing I’m concerned with is his age. At the time of some of these murders. He wouldn’t even be a teenager. Right?

Perhaps some of the men were unhoused and/or with substance abuse issues, believed they would be paid for unspecified (potentially non-sex work) physical labor, and were instead taken to remote areas and “hunted” similar to Robert Hansen up in Alaska in the 1970s. Sadism is sadism after all, it doesn’t have to have a direct sex act involved to be sexually satisfying for a person interested in inflicting pain on others.

Very interesting article with a great deal pertaining to this case.
''In September 2025, the Suffolk County Supreme Court addressed this issue for the first time in People v. Heuermann. The ruling supports that PHL does not cover forensic identification laboratories, and it drew a distinction between the regulatory framework that applies to medicine versus criminal justice.

The Motion to Suppress

The defense argued that DNA evidence generated by an out-of-state laboratory, should be thrown out because the laboratory did not have a permit from the New York DOH to perform SNP typing. PHL §574 indicates that clinical laboratories testing samples from New York residents must be permitted by DOH. Since an out-of-state laboratory had processed DNA samples from New York, the defense argued that the work was unlawful and inadmissible.''

That 'Asian Doe' is the same as the Gilgo Beach 'Asian Doe'. Personally, I believe it likely is Heuermann's work, but I would not be surprised if we found out so were the others. Maybe not, maybe they can never prove who did it.

But what does surprise me is he would have killed a man. The few serial killers I'm familiar with stuck to a hetero agenda but I'm probably naive here. For my money I don't think he was unaware when he arranged to meet the Asian Doe dressed as a woman that it was a man. Heuermann had searched for torture 🤬🤬🤬🤬 videos on the internet and there is a list of some, maybe not all is key here. One title is 'Asian escorts' another for 'young twink tied up 🤬🤬🤬🤬' and you know the DA knows more than us. Who knows what other titles or searches there were. I Gilgo beach suspect's lawyer defends 'sadistic' internet searches

John Wayne Gacy, Dean Corll, Randy Kraft, Herb Baumeister come to mind on the other side.

Rumor so JMO. A possible strategy may in fact be that many of these does are male. RH was supposedly a swinger, and the rumor mill says the reason he’s considering a plea is that he’s worried what will come out about his sexual proclivities in a trial.

Maybe the SCPD see a possible link btwn RH and one or more of the men (or to asian doe). Perhaps they heard the same rumor I did, and they are hoping that featuring any of those cases will cause RH to fear that they will bring charges against him on one of the cases where the decedent was not female. Since his crimes were sexual in nature, if he were charged with one of their murders, one could logically conclude that he got sexual gratification from non-female victims.

I should have said one way or another, but both sexes, he's really all about the killing I think.
