Agreed….I hope there is also justice for Asian Doe and Karen. If it wasn’t for the missing torso I’m assuming there would be more evidence in her case. It’s really sad.
Yes....sigh....alot unidentified and I fear not yet found victims........on the eastern part of Long Island's eastern region there's land clearing.....am waiting to hear of bones/body parts being found......will RH talk once he has plead guilty ?

I don't think Rex was slick, I think Asa has extremely low self esteem and was grateful for the roof over her head. I think she left him alone and he did the same with her. They were both slovenly and in typical sociopath/psychopath fashion, they aren't really bothered by their lowly surroundings. My guess is she knew he was weird and didn't care as long as she was married and taken care of. I am guessing she had much more knowledge of his proclivities then she lets on. maybe not murder and stuff but she could know much by his humor even, by his remarks, by things he wanted to do in the bedroom. And if all the swinging rumors are true then there is so much more.

sho got all his money and property in the end so she is going to stay loyal until he croaks. mOO
Of course she has low self-esteem, she was a foster child whose parents abandoned her, then she was in an abusive marriage. she probably has abandonment issues, trust issues and was so happy Rex gave attention to her. She was going to just do what he said and was like a quiet church-mouse. Of course she knew weird things, there was a couple that went there for swinging and when the couple left they left the girl they picked up, Asa knows alot more than she is telling, she is getting money from NBC and selling RH items on Ebay.

how many probable victims will experts say there really are? potentially? over his life span as an undiscovered SK?

I still consider Asa and her children to be victims. but at the same time it is with a huge, long, sideways glance...big enough to park a car in that shadow. I will consider that even though she may have had swinger parties in a home with children, while she may be a brainwashed mess of a woman, while she may have even met a victim, it is still possible she didn't know what Rex was really doing..like she knew he was weird but she closed her eyes..she is still deeply in denial so you can see how that denial overcomes her and she is like in outer space in what looks like total disassociation. mOO

We don't know what she was like before RH was arrested and it became international news.
All we saw is the face and actions she wanted to show the public.
Yesterday I posted an old interview with her lawyer and Chris Cuomo where Macedonio said there were marital problems and she had considered divorcing him.

What were those marital problems Asa?
Things you caught him doing throughout the years that you chose to ignore and then they were thrown back in your face when faced with what the prosecution found during their investigation?

I see her as becoming his loving public defender as a ruse to try and protect herself and that she thinks it's the proof needed to convince her critics that the RH she was married to for 27 yrs can not be the man the state accuses him of being.

"The wife of accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann says he’s her “hero’’ — and that it was like falling in love with him all over again when she first saw him behind bars."

That was her strategy because she had warnings and maybe even evidence of his ways for years.

There was a private AE that we will never know about and then the public AE that I'm all too aware of.

Macedonio said numerous times that all AE has to go on is what the media reports and she's waiting for evidence.
He was never asked by reporters then she hasn't even read his bail document?

IMO
Think the wife / girlfriend has Stockholm syndrome

She either has or has had Stockholm syndrome IMO. Sometimes I think I see a flicker of how she tries to play different roles and is not so enamoured by RH anymore but has to really force herself to do her servant/submissive routine. But that might be wishful thinking.

And I was born and raised in Stockholm (the Compton area, lol), so I must know what I'm taking about.

I think she’s savvy.

She was able to secure a team of lawyers to represent herself very quickly after Rex’s arrest. That’s a very unusual move for the spouse and adult children of an accused killer. I can’t think of any other murder case where that’s happened.

Also unusual was how she quickly pounced on law enforcement and prosecutors, attacking them viciously and publicly. She wasn’t shy about that at all. What was she afraid of? She demanded more attention and respect from LE and the news media than the victims families. Even now, so many are worried what will happen to Asa, not so much about the victims families.

Asa knows what she’s doing. She knew the situation she and her husband were in very well. She went on the attack swiftly, for both of them. For herself, she got what she wanted. I don’t worry about her, she’ll take care of herself very well. I’m not fooled by the helpless victim act.

Benjamin Torres, the grown son of murder victim Valerie Mack, is seeking money from Heuermann, his ex-wife and his daughter.

He cites the murder itself, saying Mack endured terror, restraint, pain and mutilation.

Torres also wants money the Heuermanns could make from selling their story.

He named Heuermann's daughter Victoria for dismissing the murders as "kink" behavior.

When I said subservient - I meant how Åsa behaves toward RH, when talking about RH, when doing things that RH will hear about etc. That is who she is emotionally teethered to - that link is what motivates her. But that does not mean that she is submissive toward others. Oh no. Quite the reverse.

She can handle herself.

My sources are telling me that tomorrow’s expected change of plea by Rex Heuermann in the Long Island Serial Killer case may include an additional victim - extending his allocation to an 8th victim who has yet to be publicly linked to Rex Heuermann by the Gilgo Beach Task Force. Those details expect to be revealed *for the first time* in court tomorrow.

snip Newsday

"Some of the statements they have made indicate that they have such callous disregard for the victims that they're making a profit," said Miller Place attorney John Ray, who is representing Torres. "They're earning money by that callousness and by that disregard of the victims' sensibilities. They shouldn't be given money for that."

Ray has also represented the estate of Shannan Gilbert, the New Jersey woman whose disappearance set off a law enforcement search that led to the discovery of the bodies of several of the victims.
Robert Macedonio, an Islip Terrace attorney who has represented Ellerup and Victoria Heuermann since Rex Heuermann's July 2023 arrest, said his clients had no knowledge of the killings.

"This has been a decade of Johnny Ray trying to keep himself relevant in a case that his original client, Shannan Gilbert, had no involvement in," Macedonio said on Monday night. "I reiterate strenuously that my clients, Asa Ellerup and Victoria Heuermann, had no involvement whatsoever in any of the alleged crimes of Rex Heuermann."

Ellerup has not been accused of any involvement in her ex-husband's crimes and law enforcement officials contend the killings occurred when his family, including wife and daughter, were traveling out of town.
But the lawsuit nonetheless contends they were complicit in Heuermann's alleged '
