Besides, anything Rex fraudulently transferred to her can be sued for, regardless.

I stated that anything earned post divorce is likely untouchable by victims’ families.

Rex looks happy today, he can barely hold back a smile.

Hopefully Tierney says that they are still investigating Asian Doe and if any hits to RH through CODIS and/or any other evidence from any other victim connect to him that he will be charged.
imo
Tierney is on now....hopefully he will say that !

John Ray is a perpetrator of conspiracy theories and has sought to keep himself relevant, though he previously only represented the family of Shannon who is thought by authorities not to be a victim of Heuermann. He has tried to implicate the Heuermann daughter in Mack’s disappearance though she was 13-years-old at that time. I believe nothing he says.
And my take is: Rex Heuermann would never have been identified as LISK and arrested if it weren't for John Ray.

Without Shannan Gilbert, we may not have know we were looking for LISK.

It is a disgrace that only Rodney Harrison was willing to publicly credit John Ray for saving evidence that the crime stoppers tip line ignored. It is a disgrace that Shannan Gilbert hasn't even been acknowledged as a murder to date.

Victoria should sue him for defamation…disgusting accusations against an innocent child at that time. The authorities have stated that Shannon was not murdered and is a victim of accidental drowning. John Ray, imo, is using her family to make a name for himself.

I didn't think we would get a BTK type of allocution, RH is more of a GSK personality IMO, he was never going to sit in court to admit to what he had done to any victim with specifics, or sit there while the prosecutor told the court and everybody listening about his sexual proclivities evidenced by his internet search history or anything they found in the house

some serial killers like BTK and Ted Bundy love to talk about what they have done, others less so, and he IMO has a very fragile ego with very poor self esteem and he could not sit and listen to himself to all his dark secrets being revealed,

for the victims, the victims families, for his family today is one step closer to the end, the sentencing hearing will be very difficult for all the victims, but al last they get to say what they need to say,

and I have sympathy for his family, I could not imagine suddenly finding out my husband and father had committed horrific murders, been involved with prostitutes throughout the marriage and been able to live a double life for years, I do not think anybody in his family or friend group knew what he had done, I care not a jot that she is making a tv programme, or what she or her children say, they are his victims too,

Can someone ELI5 what benefit Rex gets from the deal, aside from just avoiding trial? The state saves money by not having to prosecute, I get that, but what does he get out of having three LWOP sentences and not eight?
With the last-minute admission to KV's murder, I feel like part of it may be that he gets satisfaction from confirming what we all pretty much knew - that there were more victims than the seven he was charged with killing - while refusing to disclose any more information about the true extent of his crimes. He's facing spending the rest of his life in prison, but I think to a certain extent, he still feels like he's won/in control as long as the rest of us are left wondering just how many victims there are that only he knows about

Tierney mentioned a vehicle pulled from Pennsylvania in connection to Sandra's case, and apparently evidence linked to Karen Vergata was found in there.

Did I hear that right

Tierney just confirmed the plea is in relation to the 8 women discussed today, and not for other, potential future victims or investigations. Future prosecutions possible.

this case closes and another one opens. You know, there are still, you know, bodies on that beach. There are still bodies in Suffolk County. There's no rest for the weary. We are going to continue to work with our partners and to try to obtain closure for as many families as we can.

I think Karen is on there. I think Megan is missing.
Neither of them are there. There are seven pictures, not eight. Shannan is not one of the eight, but her picture is there and Megan and Karen are not.

Of course she has low self-esteem, she was a foster child whose parents abandoned her, then she was in an abusive marriage. she probably has abandonment issues, trust issues and was so happy Rex gave attention to her. She was going to just do what he said and was like a quiet church-mouse. Of course she knew weird things, there was a couple that went there for swinging and when the couple left they left the girl they picked up, Asa knows alot more than she is telling, she is getting money from NBC and selling RH items on Ebay.

Gross. What kind of items?

Rex Heuermann, accused of killing at least seven women in the Gilgo Beach case, pleaded guilty Wednesday, ending a decade-long investigation. The plea came during a hearing originally scheduled as a routine pre-trial session for a trial set this fall. Heuermann admitted to all seven murders and an additional eighth killing that he had not yet been formally charged with.

Sorry, that's not true. You'll need to provide a link to a legit news source.

He did not implicate Heuermanns daughter in anything
