It sounds like the poster is talking about the time the BOYS met up, which was in the middle of the night.

MOO, don't intend to speak for the OP

I can see on MSN (unapproved source) that the official cause of death is drowning. Looking for an approved link.

Ok, here we go...

That’s very sad. No toxicology back yet?

Toxicology normally takes a few weeks. The article I saw stated that there was only a little ethanol in his body which is a component of body decomposition.

''Video from a nearby Lowes showed Pelletier running toward the retention pond, where his body was later discovered by a family friend.

An autopsy report released by the District 12 Medical Examiner’s Office on Friday determined Pelletier drowned in the pond. There was no evidence of trauma or injury, and toxicological testing of his liver indicated there was a small amount of ethanol. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said this is “consistent with decomposition”.

The medical examiner said that the video evidence, in addition to these findings, indicates that no other person caused Pelletier’s death.''

This is still so hard to understand. RIP.

Knowing he wasn’t under the influence of anything, it had to be fear of something that caused such a response. Did the others discuss a topic that frightened him? Did they say something that triggered an old memory or feeling? Did he feel pressured into participating in something?

It reminds me of other cases where the person is so overwhelmed with the situation they’re in, that they choose a risky next step. Sadly it doesn’t end well for them.

I'll never believe that G chose to get out of that car and run to his death . Something happened in that car ! Even if something happened in the car , the people with him didn't care to help him.
Rest in Peace ,G !

I wonder if he ran straight in and got bogged down in mud or muck. There was one deeper end where the spillover pipe would have been. And maybe he didn't know how to swim which would have helped if over his head which it probably wasn't,

I completely agree! I believe he feared for his safety and maybe even his life. If he had no drugs in his system, it's the only explanation that works for me.

Didn’t his cousins say he smoked weed before becoming erratic? I’m confused why that didn’t show up - unless full tox hasn’t been released?

Or the cousins are lying…

I wonder if the (sometimes legal) Delta 8 shows up in toxicology tests since it is not the official marijuana?
