Beautiful story…my eyes literally just welled up when looking at these photos. Animals understand things a whole lot better than we as humans often give them credit for. :loveyou::loveyou::loveyou:

Just beautiful! The man was also disabled (special place in my heart as I have a son with Down syndrome) and had cleaned their cages for 25 years. This is what is good in the world!

Very touching! I just sent this to my daughter, who has had a soft spot for giraffes, I think, since one at Silver Springs, FL took a liking to her on a visit a few years back. It kept wanting to snuffle and "kiss" her red hair.
