State Supreme Court limits discovery in inmates appeals
The California Supreme Court on Thursday limited the ability of death row inmates and those sentenced to life without parole to obtain information from law enforcement that might help their appeals
With the highest number of death row inmates of any state (over 700)...this is great news, along with the latest OK to proceed with executions per new drug cocktail approval for Lethal Injection last month. Word is.. executions to resume in the next few months. The last execution took place in 2006 @ San Quentin, California's only prison housing the condemned.
