Texas authorities will have their work cut out for them as they try to track members of a wealthy polygamist sect who are well-equipped to hide within a national network of safe houses, one expert said.

They have unlimited resources, places to hide, they trade vehicles and can be hidden by friends and family," Brower said

A Texas attorney who represents several men from the Yearning for Zion Ranch expressed frustration to the Deseret News on Wednesday that Texas authorities won't reveal the names of those indicted. The attorney, who asked not to be identified, said members of the polygamous sect would be willing to surrender if they knew they were indicted. But as it stands, Texas Rangers will have to arrest them before attorneys can even get involved

LOL, does that make sense? They allege that their compound is being unfairly persecuted, and they ran. Presumably so that they keep from being charged. They didn't stick around to protect their church, their lifestyle, or their wives or kids. Yet when the indictments are issued, they say they will come back if they only knew they had been charged.......

They want to know who has been indicted so that they can get their stories straight before they are taken into custody.
