This is the heartwarming moment a man surprised his new wife on their wedding day with the puppy she'd always dreamed of.

Harmick Nazarians, from Sunland, California, bought the Goldendoodle puppy two days before the wedding, keeping it at a friend's house so bride-to-be Angela didn't suspect anything.

At the reception, he snuck the dog in ahead of the bouquet toss, coming up behind his bride who turned around and flung her flowers away in shock after spotting the puppy.

I’d marry him! What a catch.

It is a lovely thing to do instead of buying expensive jewellery. I just hope he is not fighting the dog for affection. My Dad bought my Mum a Yorkshire Terrier when they got married and he was an amazing dog we all loved him.

great story but I wish it had been a rescue. Stop buying dogs from breeders. There are way way too many dogs as it is. My county alone euthanized over 8,000 dogs last year (down from over 15,000 5 years ago, thanks to amazing rescue organizations that have taken these dogs in and gotten them adopted - often after expensive surgeries or much-needed training). Of course, people can do whatever they want, please don't attack me. The dog is adorable and I wish it a great life.

What a sweet and original thing to do! I just became a dog lover within the past 2 years or so and love a happy ‘dog’ story. That dog will be so freakin spoiled with love. Dogs rule!
