I am still astonished that this hearing was held at all, it seems to me that the credibility of Mr 25 years must be in doubt, as he and the burner phones were the main testimony against him, and now the other co accused is saying Mr 25 years is solely responsible I guess the judiciary felt we must re-examine parts of the trial, and if it was conducted correctly, and if his counsel did a good job,

I thought Mr 25 years was a dreadful witness, when he testified at trial, if he is needed again state must prepare him better, that is if he he chooses to testify, the plea agreement will make very interesting reading, if they didn't include a clause where he is required to testify against his co accused anytime the state requires he may not wish to testify and remind everyone that he battered an innocent woman to death with a hammer in her own home,

Tuesday, February 24th:
*Decision on Post Conviction Relief-DENIED! (@ am ET) – FL – Dr. Teresa Ann Grace Sievers (46) (June 29, 2015, Bonita Springs) – *Mark D. Sievers (48/now 57) arrested & charged (2/26/16) & indicted (5/4/16) with 1st degree premeditated murder & conspiracy to commit 1st degree premeditated murder. Plead not guilty. No bond. DA will seek DP. Lee County
Trial began on 11/12/19 with jury selection, opening statements started on 11/20. Trial expected to last 5 weeks. Jury: 9 women & 3 men, with 2 alternates (1 is a man). Trial ended on 12/4/19 with closing arguments & jury started deliberations. Deliberations took about 4 hours 10 minutes – GUILTY of 1st degree premeditated murder & conspiracy to commit 1st degree premeditated murder.
12/10/19: Jury took less than 3 hours to reach a verdict in the penalty phase – recommended & given death penalty sentence.
Appeal: 11/17/22: Appeal for new trial was denied. 2/10/25: Appeal for reconsideration was granted. Post conviction relief was denied [2/24/26].

*Curtis Wayne Wright, Jr. (41/now 57) - Took plea deal (2/26/16) plead guilty to 2nd degree murder; serving 25 years, waives all rights to appeal. Sentenced 2/10/20 Update: Victim impact statement: Mary Ann Groves (Teresa's mother). Wright is adjudicated guilty & sentenced to a 25-year prison term minus the time he already served. Wright is told to have no contact with the surviving family members of Teresa Sievers by the judge.
