Fort Drum seeks help finding 20-year-old soldier
U.S. Army officials at Fort Drum and from the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division are asking for help in locating Spc. Hayden Harris, a 20-year-old soldier, according to the base’s Facebook page.
The soldier is not under criminal investigation, according to Fort Drum’s public affairs office.
Harris, who is about 6 feet, 3 inches and 210 pounds, was last heard from between 8 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday, according to a news release from U.S. Army CID.
The specialist was headed to Watertown “for some type of vehicle transaction and has not been seen since,” the release states. It wasn’t immediately clear why Army officials were looking for Harris.
Harris was driving a red 2016 Ford Mustang with Tennessee plates, BZA 826.
Officials have made a poster with Harris’s photo. It asks anyone who saw Harris or his red 2016 Ford Mustang to contact officials at 315-772-5417, 315-774-8477 or 315-786-2601.
