Never claimed you didn't say it. I was agreeing with you. Maybe I phrased that wrong. Sorry.

That's fine. I thought you might have :).

I wasn't saying she wasn't a contributing factor. I believe Stella was a HUGE contributing factor! I suspect she's one of the people behind the continuing character assassination campaign against Heather Mills.
--lol--well, its a campaign that Mills brought on herself--btw, the girls on THE VIEW were dissing Mills bigtime--Barbara Walters, who rarely speaks bad about anyone, said during her second interview, Mills asked for a glass of water--After it was brought to her, she said, "I won't drink this--It's not room temperature'--face it, Mills is a low-class b##ch

Water finds it's own level. Maybe Paul and Heather were an even match. It takes two to tango.

I personally have no warm fuzzies where Heather Mills is concerned (and I thought she was whiny as hell in the Matt Lauer interview), but there are 3 sides* to this story, besides just Mr CanDoNoWrong McCartney's.

*his side, her side, and the truth

Let's not forget he let the Beatles music go to MJ. Huge mistake...bad business.
He adopted his daughter Heather who is Linda's bio daughter. Just a fact, nothing more. And Stella's designs are heinous...

Paul didn't 'let the Beatles music go' to MJ. That was a dirty trick that MJ pulled. When they were still friends, Paul told Michael that buying music catalogs was a good investment. MJ then turned around and outbid Paul for the catalog of around 4000 songs, that happened to include most of the Beatles songs. Paul was only interested in the Beatles songs, and was unable to raise enough money to buy the entire catalog. It doesn't matter because MJ has p*ssed away his fortune and he will be losing that catalog next year. Karma works.

Anyway, I think Heather Mills is a gold digging harpy and she has yet to provide any evidence to support the allegations she's launched against Paul. She's the one giving these ridiculous interviews. I love how she hobbles on crutches to court hearings for the divorce, yet she was on 'Dancing with the Stars' last season. I don't buy her sob stories at all. :liar:

Pssst! That's not the real Paul McCartney. He died in a car accident in the 1960's. I thought everyone knew that this Paul McCartney is an imposter. ;)

Well Peter....maybe this is why Barbara decided to speak up!:p

Well, someone did some digging and discovered that Mills’ ex, Paul McCartney, has a new love interest, Nancy Shevell, who happens to be Walters' second cousin!"

I thought there might be something more to the story. IMO, Barbara isn't "very nice" either! :twocents:

Quite frankly, none of them sound very nice!! ;) I'm assuming Linda's daughter by another marriage is accepted by the family as she was Linda's daughter. What are all of the children's names? Are there three (not including the baby)? I thought that they liked the baby and that Paul wanted custody.

I think that I read (and I certainly don't believe everything I read) that, in Paul's marriage to Linda, that Paul was the boss and that Linda did whatever he said. I can't see Heather being this way. She probably was looking for more of a partnership. I also thought that Paul resented that Heather "used" him to promote her causes. She would get people to come to her causes by saying that Paul would be there. I think that I would really resent that, too, unless I agreed up front to it.

No she isn't. I actually like the View when she isn't there. It's just a different atmosphere when she's there. I'm really impressed with Whoopi and Sherri!

Paul is just as loony and weird as Heather - just hides it better. He's had more practice. And of course "his side" loves driving Heather mad - just makes THEM look better.

Paul is NO PARAGON OF VIRTUE - he has money, power and a temper to hide. He is used to getting his way and being thought of as virtuous - a charter member of music royalty. Heather has issues, but so do MOST PEOPLE - not to mention those who have triumphed after losing a LEG. Heather bought a fairy tale and Paul wanted another Linda to run his life. His children HATED Heather and her daughter and worked to remove BOTH of them from Paul's life. He should just PAY HER and get on with his life with his kids by Linda. He cannot possibly spend all his money before he dies and the kids will just have to survive on the few BILLION left to them. It's silly for him to keep fighting and making this a bigger media circus when he won't miss the money he'd give her for a MOMENT. Pay her off and MOVE ON! Let her and his daughter get ON with life without him and his other kids - that child MUST KNOW her half siblings HATE HER and resent her - seems to me they would ALL be better off if he paid Heather and MOVED ON.

Sorry I have heard too much from friends in the music biz who knew them and were around them about Paul and Linda and their kids to buy the "poor pitiful Paul" routine. He is FAR from poor OR pitiful and has many, many issues of his own. Most made much worse since Linda died. He's become even MORE an "odd duck" as the Brits would say - and losing Linda - his ANCHOR - left him taking life at a distinct tilt like he's physically missing a "part" of himself. NO WAY Heather could fix that - doubt anyone could and Paul will likely NEVER marry again. His kids will see to THAT.

My Opinion

If true that his kids by Linda hate little Beatrice just because her mom happens to be cuckoo Heather that's a sad. The little girl can't help who her parents.
