First time posting, so please excuse me if I'm posting this in the wrong forum.

I've been trying to dig up information on a murder case from the late 80s (86-89ish) that took place in Oshawa, Ontario. It invlolved a neighbour of mine and his estranged wife and there were a lot of really bizarre incidents leading up to the actual murder.

I've tried looking up information online, but the Oshawa paper (Oshawa & Whitby This Week) doesn't seem to have online archives available. Unfortunately, I now live on the other side of the country, so can't go to the Oshawa library to look up info. I've tried contacting the paper directly, but have received no response.

Just wondering if anyone here might be able to point me in the right direction of resources where I might be able to dig up info.

Thanks!

Have you tried a library exchange? Maybe your local library can request the archives of an Oshawa library - not sure how/if that works from province to province.

Maybe the Star or the Sun carried the story - their archives are available online.
