Over the past few years McKinnon has gone missing for several days at a time, which has been reported to law enforcement previously. On June 9, 2022 McKinnon went for a walk at approximately 1200 hours which is a normal activity for him. Later in the day he was observed walking north on Ivey Lane towards Malibu Street towards his home at approximately 1800 hours.
