Crimestoppers and Honolulu Police are asking the public's help in locating 42 year old Erik Whaley. He was last seen in the area of Keehi Lagoon on March 28th.

On March 30th, the Coast Guard found a rowboat with Whaley's personal belongings floating nine miles off shore of Keehi Lagoon. Whaley is described as 6 feet tall, about 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 808-955-8300.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, hazel eyes. Whaley's nickname is Edrish.

Details of Disappearance
Whaley was last seen in the Keehi Lagoon area in Honolulu, Hawaii at 1:00 p.m. on March 28, 2009. He has never been heard from again. On March 30, the Coast Guard found his rowboat, with personal belongings inside, floating nine miles offshore from the lagoon. There was no sign of Whaley at the scene. He is presumed to be lost at sea.
