That obituary reads as if she passed away in Alaska. this is weird all the way around.
I looked further into the obituary, the "funeral chapel" that posted it doesn't really exist - it's a website for funeral services and the obit reads like something AI gleaned out of various media reports (there's wordage about the fund raiser in there and no mention of any specific family members which is highly unusual in a legit obituary). I've seen that many times when there's a media worthy missing person or suspicious death - basically the equivalent of a SPAM obituary, to get you click on it to take you to another websites or advertisers. The family is being very quiet on this, hoping for some privacy I'm sure.

Yes, I can see from her social media she had 2 daughters currently verging on teens. I think there is an effort to protect them.

Police, on the other hand, can't jump to conclusions, they have to keep an open mind and keep up a search of some kind.
